How can I help Agape?
Donations
Agape needs donations of food, hygiene items, clothing, blankets, school supplies, good used furniture and appliances, household cleaning items, household decorating items, disposable diapers and other baby items. Monetary donations are always appreciated. Donations should be made during Agape’s hours. Call Agape if you need to arrange to have items picked up.
Volunteer
Agape is dependent on the donation of time given by a number of volunteers. There are opportunities to volunteer daily, weekly, monthly or whenever you have time to share. Volunteers are needed daily to do office work, stock and distribute food from the Food Pantry, work in the Thrift Shop and process and recycle donations. Less frequently there are volunteer opportunities for cleaning, carpentry, donation pickup, food transportation, lawn care and other activities.
Moser’s
Moser’s Discount Food gives Agape a check equal to 1% of the total of cash register receipts received from Agape. The money is used to purchase items for the Food Pantry. Save your receipts and mail or bring them to Agape.
Ministry
We invite your church or agency to extend its ministry through Agape by board membership, enlisting volunteers, food collections and financial donations.
Speakers
Speakers are available to make presentations to your church or community group about Agape Ministry and its services. Help us spread the word by arranging for someone to speak to your group.
